Anna Teresa Ríos-Smith, often called Anita, is a 9th generation New Mexican living in Oakland, Ca. She is currently enrolled in the Mills College/Samuel Merritt 2+2 BSN program and expects to graduate in Fall 2009. She has received various academic awards and in 2007 she was chosen to participate in a nursing internship through INROADS (inroads.org). She was recently the recipient of the Frank C. Carr Community Service award. Her goal is to promote positive social change by questioning and acting upon the underlying causes of social injustice and inequality. Her inspiration comes from her familia, especially her late grandparents, Nana & Papi.

Bill Doyle grew up in the Santa Cruz Mountains in Northern California and earned a BS in Public Relations from San Jose State University. He runs Blend Factory, a small Creative/Rich Media company in Oakland, Ca.
Our "first born" a pied cockatiel Gatzo Merle Feathericci, playing in the sink, is lovingly known as Chewey Gomez.
Our "second born" Oso Feathericci, is an albino cockatiel who has earned the nickname brick-top.
